At DuraMedDirect LLC, we believe that movement is medicine. Our mission is simple: to empower individuals to lead healthier, more active lives by providing them with the tools and education they need to support their well-being. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to improve your quality of life, we are here to help.
Our Story
DuraMedDirect was founded out of a deeply personal experience with the power of movement. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, I was told the best course of action was to stay isolated in a dark room. However, as research progressed, it became clear that this approach was detrimental to my recovery. It wasn’t until I began moving—physically engaging my body—that I saw real progress. This experience changed my life, and it sparked a passion in me to understand why movement is so essential for recovery and overall health.
I went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, driven by a desire to learn the science behind movement and rehabilitation. I wanted to help others like myself—people who face challenges with pain, injury, or a sedentary lifestyle—understand how movement could change their lives, too.
What We Do
At DuraMedDirect, we focus on creating high-quality, reliable products to support recovery, rehabilitation, and wellness. Currently, we offer gel ice/heat packs, which are simple yet powerful tools for managing pain and supporting injury recovery. These packs are just the beginning—we are actively working to expand our offerings with carefully sourced, high-quality products that align with our mission of improving lives through movement.
But we’re not just about selling products. We believe in the power of education. We know that people are more likely to take control of their health when they have the right tools and knowledge. That’s why we provide clear, step-by-step instructions and resources with our products to ensure they are used safely and effectively.
